Cholesterol Linked to Prostate Cancer
Researchers in Italy studied almost 1,300 men over an 11 year period. They found that the men with prostate cancer were about fifty percent more likely to have had high cholesterol levels than those without prostate cancer.
Doctors say the connection is even stronger for men whose high cholesterol was diagnosed before the age of fifty, and for men over age 65 who have hypertension.
