The best way to
slow the aging process is to
slow inflammation.
When you suffer an injury your body responds by sending chemicals to the injured area to fight infection and create healing. That's good. The problem is that many people walk around in a state of mild inflammation and that's not good. And they even do not know about it. Why is that so bad? Because even mild chronic inflammation damages your heart, your brain, and immune system leading to heart disease, Alzheimer's, and diabetes. Those illnesses are all associated with accelerated aging, and in many cases, an early death. There are some real good, well recognized ways to help such as eating a diet low in fat and rich in omega 3's, as well as fruits and veggies. And of course exercise is critically important. See you can not get around exercise and right nutrition if you want to slow aging process within your body.
We spend our lives on the run: we get up by the clock, eat and sleep by the clock, get up again, go to work - and then we retire. And what do they give us? A bloody clock. - - - - Dave Allen
