We have so many diet books on the market, but we are are getting more fat. How comes? People are looking for a quick diet fix, but they forget to exercise. Unfortunately, diet alone will not do the job.
The success of your diet depends from 50 to 70% on your training and from 30 to 50% on your diet.
So many people trying to sell you "wonder fat burner pills" these days. I will tell you the truth: THE BEST FATKILLER is your MUSCLE!
When sales people are trying to hype their product they will always tell you that their product will:

Make you rich
Get you sex(y)
Burn fat

I know that you are probably confused with all weight loss products on the market. Let me explain you facts about weight loss.
Muscle burns more calories than fat does. So the more muscle you have in relation to fat, the higher your basal metabolic rate.
And since muscle tissue burns more calories, muscle mass is a key factor in weight loss.
And now the truth:
Adding a pound of lean muscle will allow you to burn 50 additional calories a day. A pound of fat burns nothing.
If you build 10 pounds of muscle you will burn 500 extra calories a day. Multiply this by 365 days in a year and divide by 3,500 (the number of calories in one pound). The result indicates that with this added muscle you will lose an extra 52 pounds in just one year.

Let me tell you one thing, to build 10 lbs of muscle is not a big deal. If you know how to train right and eat right, you can gain 10 lbs without a huge effort.
