Diets, Lies & The Yo Yo Effect

Are you eating less in order to lose weight? Do you count calories? Do you try to cut calories to lose weight?
Are you sick of losing weight and then putting it back on?

If yes than you are hypnotized by weight loss industry. It is about time to awake from your hypnosis.
Many people are presently hypnotized by false beliefs, concepts and diets that are keeping you from expressing your true potential.

The average person in this country never comes near his unlimited potential because he is living under the false assumption that he already knows the truth.
And what is the truth about dieting? What belief do you have about dieting?

Imagine you go to the gym, workout and you eat less (example 1200 calories per day). Are you going to lose fat? Or are you going to gain fat from this regimen?
Well many people would say I will lose fat.
But the truth is maybe you will lose weight (muscle) but not fat. And when you start eating normally again you will put all weight back on plus 20 lbs of fat.

First you will need to learn few things if you want to lose weight:
-Learn what is metabolism and how your body burns fat
-Understand that if you lose weight on scale, you can lose muscle mass but not FAT. So you are losing muscle, not fat.
- Low calories diets are not working. They will destroy your metabolism and it will lead to weight gain. You will lose muscle mass by following low calorie diets, destroy your metabolism and when you lose muscle your metabolism will be dead. When you start eating again, you will gain all weight back plus 20 lbs. The famous Yo Yo Effect.
- 75-90% of the people who lose weight on a diet regain the pounds after their diet ends.And 95% of people who lose 40 pounds or more were the most likely to regain it back.

Many people in TV and magazines will not tell you the truth. They hope they will hypnotize you and make you believe different so they can sell you their weight loss products.

Ask yourself: Are my beliefs about diets rational? What I have been reading and what has influenced my beliefs about dieting? TV ads, commercials? Maybe some article written by diet expert who has been paid to promote certain weight loss products? Maybe I have been influenced by celebrities and their weight loss stories?

Do not let weight loss industry blinds you to what is real and truth.
What you need to do is to awaken from the hypnotic condition and start accepting truth about diets and weight loss.

Only way to lose weight is to increase your metabolism? How do you increase your metabolism?
You will increase your metabolism only if you increase your lean muscle mass. And the best way to build lean muscle is going to to the gym and do weight training.

In order to build your lean muscle you will need to stick with a healthy diet. Not a low calorie diets.
Every time you focus on quantity and not a quality of foods, you will make the biggest mistake in dieting.
You will always make mistake if you stick with extreme food deprivation as a substitute for good diet and exercise. You will lose both muscle and body fat during the initial weight-loss phase. After finishing the diet you will experience a rapid weight gain of only fat.

We heard so many weight loss diet lies from people that we trusted. It is time to go back and listen to science and not to celebrities.

Metabolism myths debunked for women and men



Today I was reading in subway a newspaper and it was article about metabolism. They gave a lot of wrong information as usual. So let me explain you couple of things. Many of my clients come to me and tell me how they have a slow metabolism. I ask them could you explain me what is a metabolism? They do not know what it is but they assume they have slow one. They probably were reading some articles and they decided to have a slow metabolism.

Many people think that because they got older, they metabolism slowed down with age.
The reason why metabolism slowed down is because of inactivity. You work 10 hours a day, you mostly sit in the office, and eat fast whatever because you have no time to go and eat something healthy.
When you are not active, you lose muscle mass. That's why it is very important to keep muscle up and continue with your weight training. You will prevent weight gain.

Adding a pound of lean muscle mass will allow you to burn 50 additional calories a day. A pound of fat burns nothing. If you build 10 pounds of muscle you will burn 500 extra calories a day. Multiply this by 365 days in a year and divide by 3,500 (the number of calories in one pound). The result indicates that with this added muscle you will lose an extra 52 pounds in just one year.

To build 10 lbs of muscle is not a big deal. If you know how to do weight training right and eat right, you can gain 10 lbs without a big effort.

Conclusion: To increase your metabolism, you will need to add lean muscle mass. In order to add some lean muscle you will need to do weight training. Unfortunately there is no way to avoid going to the gym.

Starting in their mid 30s, women tend to lose about 1/3-1/2 pound of muscle each year while gaining 1/3 pound of fat.
With the exercise you can prevent muscle loss and all of the fat gain.

For guys unfortunately muscle tissue loss starts early, from age 25 through to 50 years stealing a 1/5 of a pound of muscle a year.
If guys start losing muscle early, the muscle loss will cause them to age early. We do not want that happen!
Lost of muscle mass is seriously linked to declines in the immune system and the onset of heart disease and diabetes.
With lost of muscle mass you will get weaker bones, stiffer joints, and slumping postures.
But there is a hope. Did you know that in as little at 12 weeks and with exercise and weight training you can recover 75% of lost muscle tissue and 40% of lost muscle strength. Now guys you know the facts. It is up to you to rebuild your muscle size. Gym is waiting for you.
Now you know the facts, nobody can trick you anymore. Nobody can sell you useless diets, fat burner pills and weight loss secrets. Now you know what to do.

Diet Secrets Revealed

Every year people laugh at old out of style diets but religiously follow new ones.

Think again!

As you can see people follow new diets and at the same time they make fun of the old ones. But soon the new ones will be old. And the cycle goes on. And you rotate around it without results but you spent money on different products.

Julien lost his GUT in 8 weeks. He went from GUT to 6 pack abs




I posted before a photo of my client Julien after 7 weeks. Now we have finished this body transformation and Julien lost his GUT!
Here is final comparison photo. He was before 205 lbs and 25% body fat.

Food additives you should never eat


Did you know that more than 3000 preservatives, flavorings, colors and other
ingredients are added to foods in the USA?

And it is sad fact that 90% of money we spend on food goes towards processed foods. Many companies market you supplements as a miracle foods, but the fact is it's a just pure crap. Sorry to be honest!
Many sports supplements are loaded with additives, and instead to get the results they promise you, you will be polluting your body with the crap.

I will list some of the most medically questionable and harmful additives in everyday foods:

1. Sodium nitrite
2. BHA & BHT
3. Propyl gallate
4. Monosodium glutamate
5. Trans fats
6. Aspartame
7. Acesulfame-K
8. Food colorings (Blue, Red, Green, Yellow)
9. Olestra
10. Potassium bromate
11. White sugar
12. Sodium chloride (salt)

Sodium nitrite is a preservative added most commonly to bacon, turkey bacon, ham, hot dogs, sandwich meats, and smoked fish.

BHA (butylated hydroxyanisole) and BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene) are other preservatives added to foods like cereal, gum, potato chips, and vegetable oils. Did we not see cereal commercial telling us to eat cereal in order to lose weight?

Propyl gallate is found in meats, chicken soup base, and gum. All of these preservatives have been linked to cancer.

Monosodium glutamate (MSG) can cause migraines and other adverse effects.

Trans fats are being eliminated from most foods, as the studies linking them to heart disease, strokes, and kidney problems are widely accepted.

Aspartame is an artificial sweetener found in products like NutraSweet and Equal as well as diet foods and soft drinks. And acesulfame-K is a newer sweetener used in soft drinks and some baked goods.

Many food colorings have been banned by the FDA, but some can still be found in foods that require a particular color. Olestra was common for a time in potato chips as an additive that prevented fat from being absorbed in your digestive system. Food colorings have been tied
to cancer and Olestra also blocks vitamins from being processed.

Potassium bromate is sometimes added to white flour, breads, and rolls to increase the volume of the products, but it has cancer-causing properties that have prompted some states in America to actually require a label to that effect.

Finally, white sugar and sodium chloride (salt) can be dangerous if not kept to a minimum. Many of these additives are linked to an increase in cancer risk.

One of the best ways to avoid food additives is to cut way back on the processed foods in your diet and instead focus your meals on whole foods. If you do eat processed foods, choose organic varieties and make sure to read the label and avoid foods that contain numerous
additives.

By keeping your diet as pure as possible, you're giving your body the nutrients it needs without all of the added toxins it definitely doesn't.
